What $360 of flowers looks like in a DIY Wedding

What does $360 of flowers get you?

This week I pretended I was DIY-ing wedding florals for an intimate celebration and figured out exactly how many arrangements I could make from 3 of my DIY Bulk Buckets of Flowers.

Here's what 3 Bulk Buckets looks like

These are 3 bulk buckets of flowers that I harvested at the end of August

I sell flowers in bulk to DIY brides so you can make your own bouquets for your big day!! Each bucket is $120 and contains over 60 stems, so that breaks down to less than $2/stem. These bulk buckets are available from April-October and we have a huge range of colors for you to customize!!

What I made with 3 Bulk Buckets of Flowers

1 Bridal Bouquet

This cutie bouquet was made with about 30 stems of dahlias, roses, eucalyptus, amaranth, and other flowers from the bulk buckets.

Look at this cute little late-summer bridal bouquet 😍

This DIY bridal bouquet took about 10 minutes to make

5 Centerpiece Bouquets

These each had 25-30 stems and would look so good as centerpieces for your dinner tables or as decor around your venue. I thrifted all the vases from goodwill!

These 5 bouquets would make such lovely centerpieces for a colorful wedding!!

Each of these centerpieces has about 25-30 stems

10 bud vases

These had 3-5 stems each of feverfew, cosmos, and gomphrena to give them a wildflower-vibe. Bud Vases are easy to DIY and are my favorite way to make a big impact with few flowers.

How long does it take to DIY wedding flowers?

These took me 30 minutes to arrange all the bouquets, but remember, I’ve got tons of practice so I can pump these out pretty quickly!! I would highly recommend practicing ahead of time and allocating at least a couple hours to make sure you have enough time to make your dream wedding flowers.

Here’s what all the flowers looked like after I was done arranging

These colors are obviously super bright, but I grow a huge variety of flowers in different colors so can make your bulk buckets exactly the colors you want :)

How to properly store your flowers for your DIY wedding

It’s extremely important to keep the flowers as cool as possible until you need them, especially if you’re having an outdoor summer wedding. Store the flowers indoors in a cool, dark space. A garage or air conditioned room is usually perfect.

Stage the flowers for the event an hour before it starts so they don’t wilt too much in the sun!!
