Big Oak Flower Farm is located in St. Paul, 40 minutes south of Portland in Oregon’s Wine Country. This farmland has been in my family for 6 generations and we’re so excited for you to visit so you can pick your own beautiful bouquet of flowers.
U-Pick Flowers
Bring your mom, your bestie, or your sweetheart to the flower farm! Wander the fields full of flowers, snip your favorite blooms, and arrange them in a beautiful bouquet.
Big Oak Flower Farm is located in St. Paul, near Champoeg State Park. We’re off I-5 just 40 minutes from Portland, Oregon and 10 minutes from Newberg.

Bouquet Workshops

The cool thing is, you may already have a garden full of suitable plants already growing in your own backyard, or have access to foraging in wild areas.
But you’re not sure how to put it all together in a beautiful bouquet…
Join us at our Garden Bouquet Workshops where you’ll learn:
What native plants make great additions to bouquets
How to harvest from plants that may already be in your own garden
A list of unique plants to grow in your garden or forage materials from the wild for bouquets

U-Pick FAQ’s

We’re about 40 minutes south of Portland, 25 minutes from McMinnville, and 10 minutes from Newberg.

We have listed U-Pick dates where the public can visit our flower field (this is also where we live! ;) so we currently cannot have folks come out whenever they want.
If you’d like to schedule a private U-Pick experience for your group, please email me at info@bigoakflowerfarm.com and we will make it happen!
We love: bachelorette parties, work retreats, girl’s night, book clubs, etc

Yes, U-Picks are family friendly. Keep in mind this is a working farm and we will ask your kids to respect our plants and equipment!

We book photoshoot sessions separately to ensure a great experience for everyone! Please email me at info@bigoakflowerfarm.com to schedule a private photoshoot.

No, please leave your pups at home! We’ve got our Aussie, Forrest, here to keep you company while you pick flowers :)

No, we currently do not serve refreshments due to insurance policy.

Yes, I’d love to give you some pointers while you’re picking flowers! We can chat all things bouquet design while you’re here.

Yes, you can bring a friend, and each additional bouquet picked requires a $40 U-Pick ticket purchase.

Usually not, if we get a bit of rain in the summer it’s usually a light rain and not enough to warrant cancelling. But if there’s any worse weather (ie lightning storms), I will cancel and refund your tickets!

Flowers will vary from week to week but all summer expect a gorgeous rainbow field of dahlias, tons of zinnias in unique colors, vibrant celosia, and so much more! Search around my website for examples of photos.

Wander the rows & pick your favorites. I’ll give you pointers to guide your bouquet design but otherwise all flowers are fair game!

Come solo or bring friends! You’ll meet a bunch of awesome folks who also love flowers.
