We kicked off July with a bang by doing ALL the florals for my brother’s 160 person wedding on the 4th 🤯 It was intense, and I needed a week to recover after that. Here’s the post where I shared the whole breakdown of how I made that happen if you’re interested!
But now that the wedding is behind us, we can move on and enjoy all the summer flowers!

What does my business look like now that I’m not doing market bouquets anymore?
If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I’m stepping away from weekly Saturday Market and bouquet subscriptions this summer so I can focus on wholesale options for florists and DIY Bulk Buckets for people who want to make their own bouquets.
I was really nervous to make this transition because my business has been based solely on bouquet sales until now, but I really want to become a better flower grower, not a better bouquet-designer.

July brought our first Bouquet Workshops
We hosted our first Bouquet Workshop in July and invited an amazing group of ladies out to the farm for a tour + workshop!

Finding time for creativity
I took a class from another florist, as well, to keep learning and practicing my craft. I’ve struggled to make time for creativity and fun now that flowers are my full-time job. I pick flowers for hours to supply orders and then by the time I’m done with that, I’m way too tired to do ‘just for fun’.
I’ve found the best way to schedule time for creativity and learning is to take classes!! My friend Kimmie owns Wild Fern Florals and does incredible wedding floral design, and I was lucky enough to take one of her classes over the weekend.
