Let’s go hunt for some flowers and meet new friends!
We’re Hayden & Madeline - a queer couple who live just across the road on our flower farm. The Champoeg area has been my Hayden’s home for six generations and we’re excited to share some of my favorite wildflower spots with you. Living in a rural area can be isolating, so we wanted to create a space for small-town queers (and our allies!) to connect, explore, and enjoy the beauty of spring together.
Mother's Day Pop-Up at Pulp & Circumstance
Get your bouquets and other goodies at the Big Oak pop-up at the cutest shop in Newberg, Pulp & Circumstance!
Spring Edible Garden Festival
Visit us Mother’s Day Weekend in McMinnville!
This year we’ll be a vendor at the Edible Garden Festival. We’ll have special Mother’s Day bouquets, or you can pre-order to pick up at the market. Contact me here to arrange a pre-order or request a special bouquet for the mother in your life.
About the Event
From the Edible Landscapes website: A vibrant street festival the day before Mother's Day, at which we distribute 4,000+ free seedlings to community members. At retail, these plants would cost over $15k. Giving these seedlings away encourages individuals to start their own gardens and improves access to fresh food. Community partners aligned with our mission join us at this festival to offer information, products, and fun activities for all ages that further enhance the sense of hope and community.
Queer Nature Walk at Champoeg State Park
Join us for our final Free Queer Nature Walk of 2025!
Come take in the beauty of the prairie at sunset - wide open meadows, so many birds, forest trails along the river, and a welcoming queer community. After our walk, bring a picnic and stick around to relax and connect with new friends.
